Which are the 4 Cancer Fighting Foods?

Many people think that stomach cancer is something you do not really need to worry about. Are you too one of them? If yes, let us tell you something that will make your blood run cold. The stomach cancer rate is surprisingly rising and is becoming more common among young people. The bad news is that it is really difficult to detect this cancer even in a stomach cancer hospital as there is nothing that might be visible through an x-ray. However, like every other thing that has a positive and a negative side, there is the positive as well. The positive thing is that your food choices can help you prevent the disease. There are some cancer-fighting foods and here they are:

Citrus fruits
Free radicals are produced due to the chemical reactions in your body, which can damage DNA and result in cancer. These radicals are knocked out by the intake of citrus fruits that have vitamin C. they neutralize free radicals and help you fight stomach cancer. You can take one citrus fruit a day to enjoy the benefits.

Carrots
They have beta-carotene in them, which work as a team with vitamin C. Vitamin C neutralizes the free radicals and beta-carotene guards and takes care of the surface of each cell.

Sweet potatoes
Sweet potatoes have both beta-carotene and caffeic acid. While beta-carotene helps in safeguarding the surface of your cells, the supply of blood to the growing tumours is cut off by caffeic acid.

Allium vegetables
These vegetables have allicin that is made from natural compounds found in garlic plants. Allicin is a strong cancer fighter and helps you to prevent this disease.

Though these foods will help you fight stomach cancer, it is always advised by the doctors to visit a reputable stomach cancer hospital for check-ups very often.
